John's Pass Village & Boardwalk

John's Pass Village sits on a narrow tidal inlet in Madeira Beach, about 15 minutes south of Indian Rocks Beach. It's a working fishing village that's grown into one of the area's most visited spots, with a long wooden boardwalk lined with seafood restaurants, shops, and boat charter operators.

The fishing fleet still goes out every morning, and you can watch the boats come back in the afternoon. Several operators run dolphin-watching cruises, deep-sea fishing charters, and jet ski rentals right from the docks. If you want to get on the water without much planning, this is the easiest place to do it.

For food, Bubba Gump Shrimp and Sculley's Boardwalk Grille are the most popular waterfront options. Both have outdoor seating over the water. The village also has a handful of souvenir shops and a small aquarium if you're travelling with kids.
